Here is how we implement this: Active asset management exemplified by the development at Saarbrücker Strasse 21
The new-build development at Saarbrücker Strasse 21 in Berlin’s Prenzlauer Berg district completes a building cluster on the grounds of the former Königstadt brewery.
In architectonic terms, the task was to observe the building conservation constraints imposed on the brewery brownfield and to dig out and integrate an archaeological landmark, namely the brewery’s historic beer cellar. The building now blends smoothly into the existing architectural ensemble.
