Ever since the Building Electromobility Infrastructure Act (GEIG) was passed in 2021, German businesses and building owners have been legally required to provide charging infrastructure for electric vehicles. As early as 1 January 2025, any non-residential building with more than twenty parking spots must have at least one charging point. stations were installed for building occupants. A renowned car rental agency and another office tenant use the charging points for their electric car fleet. One of the specific challenges of this project was to take the different needs of the tenants into account in the electric load management.
