The building, renovated in 1985, is located in the city\u2019s S\u00fclz district and has a total rental space of 7,556 square metres, of which 49 percent is commercial space and 51 percent is residential space. The complex also has 100 underground parking spaces and 36 spaces above ground. The parties agreed to maintain discretion about the purchase price. The Barton Group has been assigned with the asset and property management for the complex. \u201cThe high demand for apartments and commercial space in Cologne ensures a high degree of earnings security for mixed-use buildings in this inner-city location,\u201d commented managing director Dominik Barton, who was also closely involved in the acquisition and in implementing the transaction.\u201d CBRE Valteq and Kucera Rechtsanw\u00e4lte acted as the legal advisors for the buyers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cInstitutional investors are increasingly valuing residential and commercial properties in German city centres as assets.
