June 2019<\/strong> \u2013 The Sagittarius Business House just received its BREEAM International New Construction certificate, scoring an \u201cExcellent\u201d rating. The BREEAM audit was carried out by WSP Polska Sp. Z oo. Definitive for the rating were the transport and waste concept as well as the building\u2019s energy and water consumption. <\/p>\n<p> The Sagittarius Business House is an office building with a total useful area of more than 25,600 square metres. It is located on the street Sucha in Wroc\u0142aw, in the immediate vicinity of the Wroc\u0142aw G\u0142\u00f3wny railway station. The new scheme was acquired by Warburg-HIH Invest Real Estate last year and is earmarked for an individual fund. Its main tenants are EY and Bank of New York Mellon, who occupy a combined 90 percent of the available space on long-term leases. Property management for the building is provided by Cushman &#038; Wakefield. <\/p>\n<p> \u201cWe are delighted that our investment asset Sagittarius Business House in Wroc\u0142aw was awarded a BREEAM \u2018Excellent\u2019 certification,\u201d said Matthias Brodesser, Head of Transaction Management International at Warburg-HIH Invest. \u201cIt shows that our Poland portfolio meets a verifiably high sustainability standard.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>The acronym BREEAM is short for \u201cBuilding Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method\u201d and is the oldest and most widely used certification system for sustainable construction. It was developed in the United Kingdom in 1990. BREEAM uses a simple points system in eight assessment categories to grade a given building on a scale of four and to award a corresponding quality label. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cReceiving the BREEAM International New Construction certificate with an \u2018Excellent\u2019 rating confirms that the building managed by us satisfies the highest technical standards and uses environmentally friendly technical solutions,\u201d said Lena Januszko, Property Manager with EMEA Asset Services at Cushman &#038; Wakefield. <\/p>\n<blockquote  class=\"blockquote\"><p> <em>\u201cWe are delighted that our investment asset Sagittarius Business House in Wroc\u0142aw was awarded a BREEAM \u2018Excellent\u2019 certification.
