Hamburg, 25 January – HIH Real Estate signed leases for two units at HanseForum in Hamburg, thereby achieving full occupancy for the scheme’s office accommodation. A unit of roughly 600 square metres was let on a long-term lease to BNP Paribas Real Estate Holding GmbH, which operates its property management division in the building. For the other rental unit, which extends over about 1,050 square metres, a lease was signed with Microsoft Deutschland GmbH, also over a lengthy term. On the tenant side, the lease deal of Microsoft was facilitated by Jones Lang LaSalle Hamburg.
Warburg-HIH Invest had acquired the HanseForum for two of its investment funds, “Top 7 Deutsche Metropolen Immobilien Invest” and “Deutschland Selektiv Immobilien Invest,” in August of last year. “The successful lettings after such a short period of time highlight the benefits of networking within the HIH Group and simultaneously demonstrate the vertical integration of our real estate investment management,” said Ken Kuhnke, Head of Letting Management at HIH Real Estate.
